The vision I have is the embryos , being frozen, will last quite a while. If they last 18 years, is that embryo now an adult? The clinics usually harvest multiple eggs per woman. What's to stop the government from declaring eminent domain over all unimplanted embryos that existed in the freezers for more than 18 years and collecting them all? Effecting guardianship upon themselves.
Since the embryos are now wards of the government, if the government declares catastrophic devastation to its IVF guardianship program and goes in to "clean up" the mess, taking all the now "contaminated" embryosinto custody and moved under guard to another storage area. Then notify the world that all were destroyed.
But none of them were.
Make your own conclusion. Mine is pretty bleak and sounds a little crazy.

Can someone please explain to me in the simplest terms, why the GOP, party of the unborn getting to be born at all costs, wanted/wants to remove the potential for parents who desperately want to have bio babies of their own? Wouldnt it be more logical to enshrine IVF? It makes no sense and makes my brain hurt.. what is their motive to end IVF here?

I'm confused. When Trump says "they", who is "they" that he's talking about? How can he claim there to have been a bigger force than him? Someone born into a billionaire family; inherited wealth from pops; made his way through New York real estate (do you understand the underbelly of this world and how difficult it is to gain prominence here? - this is the one area I initially respected him on figuring out, regardless of his father's backing and support, NY RE isn't pretty nor easy); become President of the USA... And still claim there's someone big and bad out there stopping you from doing what you wanted?! And people believe him? Well played to him.

Fertilized eggs are not babies until they are implanted into a live uterus and the pregnancy actually takes and is confirmed. An embryo can’t grow without being inside that uterus with a placenta. That’s why they have to freeze them until they are implanted. The pregnancy doesn’t even always take. Are they going to arrest woman if they have eggs implanted and every single egg doesn’t result in pregnancy? Try to charge them with causing themself to miscarry?

I'm no jackal but... You start off talking about how Trump said "cheating like a dog" but then later you repeat it as "lying like a dog." Trump's phrase is indeed twisted, since he said cheating instead of lying, which makes no sense. However, the phrase "lying like a dog" does make sense since it comes from (I think) the pun on "to lie", as in someone lies all the time like dogs lie down all the time. (But do they?)

If the court system can rule Corporation are people, then it's no surprise they can rule embryo are children. There must be a limit and sanity check, and medical opinion criteria for court opinions. If they rule a chair is a person, can it be a person ?
