Wow. What a beautiful aircraft. So smooth, sleek and powerful. When I heard that engine spool up it was very dynamic and smooth. It has that one of kind sound to it.
You're a very grounded man and smart. I worked around aviation for about 3 years, a few P-51 Mustangs and other turbopropped aircraft when I was younger. I attended many air shows. Yours is different & great. Fantastic. What a thrill. Thank you.

Question 1) could you put counter rotating propellers? Like the russian bombers?
Question 2) bending wings backwards a little, would help a little ? Like Messerschmitt 262...?

I wonder what the top dive speed would be? And might that require a different wing configuration for optimal dive speed?( Also would there be an option with pylons for .50 cal or rockets etc?-asking for a friend in Africa🤣)

I'm not a safety Sally, but when you're on the cutting edge as Mike is, everything you do to ensure safety can easily be the difference between life and death. This is a stunning aircraft that pushes the boundaries and there's a huge element of danger in that, but even with holding back from the razor's edge, you're already on a crazy ride and the adventure level is at max. I'm sure the temptation to let those horses run wild is a powerful one, but there's a thin line between ecstasy and suicide that a wise man will not cross. What an amazing accomplishment.

I'm an A&P mechanic myself. I was thinking why didn't you put a T53 L 703 turboprop in it. They weigh 545 lbs & have a max 1800 shp. You would have had a real hot rod in the sky.

The top speed for a P 51 mustang was clocked at 487. This baby does 420 at cruising speed! WOW!!

I spent a few years at StraightFlight Inc. as a fabricator/ Airframe guy. We did mostly mods and minor to catastrophic airframe repair. We regularly fabricated parts or mods the engineers had to reverse engineer into cad post fabrication. It’s neat to see the spirit of innovation and dream to reality within your work.
