Comments:
So same price as a Tundra and same fuel economy, only now you're sitting on the floor? What a joke.
ОтветитьThe tailgate can also be closed by just "bumping" it up a little with your knee or any other body part.
ОтветитьLol Tacomas now have Ramboxes
ОтветитьPrediction: Toyotas core Tacoma buyers will not embrace the underpowered 4 banger and Toyota will bring back the V6 in less than 2 years.
ОтветитьIt has a manual transmission 😵😵😵
ОтветитьI had a pre-Tacoma SR5 in 1985. It had the clutch/starter disconnect and I used it a lot in off-road situations. Loved it.
ОтветитьIf anything goes wrong, good luck getting it fixed. You will have to take it to the dealership and you know how that goes.... I just love my 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD-OFF Road which comes with a V6 4.0 liter naturally aspirated engine and all the bells and whistle. I will not change my Tacoma to anything!!!
ОтветитьToyota's CEO promise of preventing dealers price gouge was the biggest BS of the century, most if not all of the dealers around my area are asking well above 10k over MSRP, like 65k for a TRD Off road trim 🤬
ОтветитьLets be honest, most of the people buying this truck are Computer nerds like myself who are not doing "mens" work.
Ответитьi dont like how there is no mechanical release for the tailgate. if the little motor goes out, your tailgate is stuck from what is shown in the video
ОтветитьThat Morse code is super cheesy. I'm second-hand embarrassed.
ОтветитьI am getting the manual because it a theft deterrent..lol
ОтветитьGreat review! Although, I totally disagree with you regarding the manual transmission. There's nothing like a manual transmission in a four-wheel drive. An automatic doesn't come close to the control you get with a clutch. I just bought my 24 Tacoma yesterday. I got the TRD off-road in a manual so I suppose I'm one of the nine people LOL. 🤙
ОтветитьThe '23 and earlier is a legend. The '24 is a myth.
ОтветитьGood god you chew your fingernails like a worried woman.
ОтветитьTake your hybrid turbo TACOMA and STICK IT where the sun dont SHINE! You took a good truck and destroyed it, NEVER would I buy one of these pieces of CRAP! CCC Austin, TX
ОтветитьThanks to the democrats leading by the inept leader, not too many people could afford even a pickup.
ОтветитьLooks too long in the nose.
ОтветитьMan I love that I can got all of that tech like the huge infotainment screen, digital dash, the digital rear view mirror, the multi cameras, cooled seats, diff lock, sway bar disconnect with a MANUAL transmission. Truck is too small for my needs but I’d buy it anyway because of that feature combo
ОтветитьWe make a lot of engine parts for this truck. TCC, CHC, Intake manifold. Water pump and Oil pump. They're solid. Good stuff.
ОтветитьI don’t think so this truck will work in U.S , the issue is 4 cylinder and manual transmission is big drawback’s,we are in anew era of technology , people use phone, iphod and drive as a part of job and this one is manual transmission which will kill alot of construction workers community and I can see it will failed badly and Toyota will stop production .
ОтветитьThank you Toyota keep on making cars that are built to last. We’ll keep buying them. Would a 4 cylinder really be able to handle a fully built out rig though?
ОтветитьAs an owner of 2nd gen this gen looks like a hot wheels toy. I'll stay with my Taco.
Manual gearbox will always be better than automatic.
Ahhh o saegr”😂i 😂
ОтветитьThe only reason I would get the manual is because I only have room for one vehicle. If I could have 2, I would have a little manual sports car as well.
ОтветитьThese tacomas are all cab and no box similar to a cowboy that's all hat and no cattle... Might as well just get an SUV or one of those Hyundai trucks
ОтветитьWe need that girl to advertise Tacoma 😂
Ответитьhave you reviewed the ranger raptor yet?
ОтветитьIt's a nice truck, I like it.
ОтветитьI’m proudly one of those “9” people
ОтветитьLooks like you hurt your thumb finger in the tail gate
ОтветитьThose are USB C ports in the bed. LOL The door grab handle is also pre-production... If I want an accurate review of something I suppose this isn't the channel to get it.
ОтветитьI am one of those 9 people who is getting this truck with the manual transmission.
ОтветитьStop dissing manual transmissions in regular vehicles - or any vehicle for that matter! The manual transmission is why I will consider buying one of these. The Colorado would be great with a manual, but they never offered one except in basic WT model, and don't at all anymore. Some people still just want manuals!
ОтветитьI cant wait to be one of the 9 people to get this
ОтветитьToyota says the Amber front halogen lights help with off-road performance because mud doesn't get in them.
ОтветитьI am so pleased that a MT is still offered. Especially in Hybrid form. Well done Toyota!
Ответитьinteresting to hear your comments on the stick shift.. personally I'd go for the lowest spec 4x4 with a stick but it's insane to me that that setup is almost 40K
ОтветитьGreat video, totally agree with the manual transmission and I am excited to hear about the i-force max hybrid.
ОтветитьI've always loved the powertrain of the Toyotas but could never get over how ugly I felt the Tacoma was. So much so I was gonna go with the Frontier Pro-4X UNTIL Toyota came out with this beauty!!!!
ОтветитьBetter fuel economy😂😂😂😂😂 this guy is an idiot
ОтветитьI own & love my 21 TRD Pro and I'm not sold at all on the new design let alone the engine
ОтветитьI'm extremely glad they kept the manual. I promised myself my next vehicle was going to be manual, no if ands or buts, I used to love driving them. My lifestyle has changed and now I need a truck, so Toyota REALLY came in clutch for me. This new Tacoma is exactly what I need and exactly what I want. Can't wait for Feburary
ОтветитьDoug hating on the manual transmission... I was happy to purchase my 3rd Gen MANUAL TRD off-road lol
ОтветитьThe JBL speaker that pops out has a🔋from Toyotas solid state🔋technology in there another "quirk & feature"
ОтветитьDid they do the same as GM and build a purpose built engine that is capable of handling a turbo? Or did they just retrofit an existing 4 cylinder?
ОтветитьDitching the V6 for a turbo 4 isn’t great.
ОтветитьWow what a piece of junk there is no front bumper it is all plastic I'm going to really feel safe in that truck if that's what you want to call it they made a good V6 motor now they have a turbo on a 4-cylinder that's not going to last you put a turbo on a 4-cylinder motor you're going to cut that mortar life in half what is Toyota doing if I want a garbage I would just go buy a Chevy I guess now Toyota is going to follow in the footprint making junk not for this guy
ОтветитьWould any one be kind enough to explain WHY nobody would get the manual transmission? Is it a limitation in this kind of vehicle or is he just saying because most people don't drive manual?
Ответить
