This is the best driving review I’ve seen of the new Camry. I really want to drive one now to see what it’s like. I drive an 8th gen right now but this might be a good long term investment. I’m in Canada and have been wanting an AWD Hybrid for a while now and this Camry is super intriguing. It seems literally perfect for a long term 10 year plus vehicle.

I am sure the truck in the background was there for security reasons...

Really can’t go wrong with this and looks better than the Accord externally IMO.

Sad its kind of losing its identity as a rugged family workhorse that it use to be. I dont mind camrys getting sporty but they need some different options and some with a bit more clearance for a range of driving conditions like the 90s ones did

AWD folks!…not found in the Accord

I hate this new door chime. They first put it in the 2023 Toyota Corolla. It sounds horrible.

I don’t believe this is a new generation. I think this is just a refresh.

The new Corolla has loud tires too...I found out when I replaced them with some no names from discount and the car was noticably quieter. Factory tires are for mpg I guess...

Front end is way uglier and ruins an otherwise cosmetically perfect car. And hybrid only? Now the car is officially ruined. I’m so happy I got the model before the refresh. I’m going to try to keep it forever. Cars manufacturers have officially gone insane and lost touch. It’s such a shame because they go 99% of the way but just can’t let people have the whole 100%.

I would of like it if it’s not a hybrid I hate electric vehicles

Reminds torpedo of Lexus LS. But it is still Toyota. I would prefer getting ES instead. Yes, more expensive, but way better.

Which 2025 Camry has LESS road noise? I don't want road noise....so I don't want 18s. What happened to the old days of 16" wheels with a quiet ride?

After driving the 2025 Camry and the 2024 Prius Prime, which would you get? I'm debating but leaning towards the Prime just because I live 16 miles from work and have solar at my house to charge.

I drive a 2022 RAV4 SE hybrid with the lease ending soon. I have owned several Camrys In the past, but had to take the RAV for as there were no Camrys available that I wanted during Covid

I like how you say that a lot of people like the RAV4… I am planning on getting an SE Camry 2025 when the lease is up, but as you mention in the video people like the RAV4 for their ground clearance and utility… I like the ground clearance and I like the cargo space And I like sitting up high those are the only drawbacks that I see getting a Camry, but I think those are drawbacks that I can live with…

I want a Good looking reliable car that gets excellent gas mileage and still fun to drive… all wheel drive is a necessity for me living in upstate New York and distill get that kind of gas mileage is phenomenal

Topher- Why don't you drive the LE trim without the sunroof and see if that car is much quieter- I would be curious to know.

What to buy: Camry, Mazda, or Accord?

Can you help answer some questions about the 2025 Camry. I can’t seem to find this information anywhere online, and the dealerships in my area say the car is too new so they don’t know the answers to my questions.
1. Does the 2025 Carmy have steel knuckles or aluminum knuckles?
2. Approximately how many shop hours to replace new lithium ion battery in 2025 Carmy under the seat? I’m hoping the new design requires less time to be removed to get the battery out.
3. Does the 2025 Carmy have an electronically controlled variable oil pump?
4. Does the ECVT transmission in the 2025 Camry have a slush lubrication system or does it have a dry sump system like the 2024 Prius Prime?
5. Is the transmission in the 2025 Camry the PB12 transmission like in the 2024 Prius Prime which is lager than what is in the standard Prius?
6. Does the 2025 Carmy have lug nuts with bolts or did you switch to bolts like on the 2024 Prius?
7. Does the 2025 have a re-designed Two Piece timing chain cover like the 2024 Prius which was re-designed to eliminate the chances of leaks?

I had an Ionic plugin, and it had the paddle behind the steering wheel as a way to recharge the battery... Does the Camry do that too? I used it a lot, and it often saved me from using the brakes frequently.

Are you able to turn that chime down or off? holy god
