ОтветитьRene Favaloro, procer argentino
ОтветитьEnglish sub pleaseeee
ОтветитьI had the revascularization surgery at the ICBA (Instituto Cardiológico Buenos Aires) less than a month ago, and I not only fell great but I am thankful that this advanced surgery is performed in my own country, where Rene Favaloro was born.
ОтветитьFavaloro reasoned that an alternative method of reconstruction would be to use the saphenous vein to connect the unoccluded proximal and distal sections of the vessels, thus bypassing the obstruction. On 9 May 1967, Favaloro performed the first documented saphenous aortocoronary bypass, in a 51-year-old woman with total occlusion of the proximal third of the right coronary artery. Eight days later, Sones would confirm by angiography that the bypass was patent; 20 days later, angiography showed total reconstruction of the artery. PLEASE GIVE CREDIT TO ARGENTINIAN RENE FAVALORO. IT WAS NOT HE AND HIS COLLEAGUE. IT WAS HIM. THIS IS A KNOWN FACT. CLEVELAND CLINIC, DO NOT TAKE ALL THE CREDIT.

ОтветитьI had double by pass done 5 weeks ago and am recovering nicely from it. Much appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and all Medical staff for bringing me back to good health. I'm 64 years old and have lived off cheeseburgers, fries and pizza, so I have no one to blame but myself for the condition I was in. Now it is on to a healthy lifestyle and hopefully can extend my life another 20 years or so.
ОтветитьWhy surgery if we have today stents without open chest?
ОтветитьAfter having had Aortic Dissection surgery in 2008 (Dacron graft for AD with pericardial Tamponade) I am now faced with a buildup of calcification in one of the coronary arteries opposite the coronary sinus. Just had CT angiography and await decision. Best wishes and thanks for all you do.
ОтветитьFollow Esselstyn's program precisely and no one would ever need CABG.
ОтветитьIs it good for 3 blockage vessles
ОтветитьI heard about the "best" procedures but I didn't hear one word about how to prevent atherosclerosis. I even heard that everyone gets atherosclerosis as if to normalize the disease.
If doctors were genuinely doing their job, wouldn't the objective be to sound the alarm and teach everyone in America (and in the world) how to PREVENT hardening of the arteries. Shouldn't the ultimate objective be to never do another heart surgery? Why is it that we are hearing about how wonderful the procedures are but not how to prevent the needing the procedures? I believe the answer is m-o-n-e-y.
Let's first and foremost address the root cause. Am I being unreasonable? Am I talking crazy talk? What is responsible about talking about atherosclerosis and not even mentioning how to prevent it. Why don't MDs have appropriate education in nutrition? Why are doctors more focused on addressing symptoms than actually helping people stay healthy (not need medical intervention)? Why? M-O-N-E-Y.
If I'm wrong, please help me understand because it seems like the "health care system" destines itself to perpetuate ill-health.
seems a bit like a Cleveland Clinic Commercial
