As the son of an alcoholic father, this story has always been the anchor in the morning.

It is a good video. But I feel much sadness for the very unhappy twin, obviously more of a sensitive kind soul, because of that more damaged can’t understand the unloving behavior of his father.. The other twin a harder man, so saw it differently. 🥰

My father is also an alcoholic... One... He tortures my mom nd my two sisters... I think i'll sacrifice my dreams... Forever.... I m lacking money for higher education..... 😔

I’m a twin and my father was an angry abusive alcoholic. He died from it. I followed my fathers path for years now i no longer have any addictions. My brother has never drank or touched drugs.

That is interesting but a mess a little. Why? Because the story starts from that two twin brothers are growing up without a mother and with an angry, dangerous and alkoholic father. Years later, they left their father home and one of twin brothers got into the jail. And no one told that they cared about eatch other. So the moral of the story should be that brothership ends when it is hard times. That showed this video. Because not everyone is able to get succed by themselves and sometimes they need someone help. That brother who went to the jail, he was forgotten by his brother. So that is naturally that he will become angry. Why? Because everyone gave up of him. So this video is a mess because brothers MUST care and love each other no matter what. That video shows that you should give up of your brother and live alone. That is a mess and bullshit.

During those early years of life we only have implicit memory (no recall) and explicit memory has not yet developed so we don't remember what abuse we suffered we only carry the emotional pain that causes the trauma. Drinking and/or drug addiction isn't a choice that we make we only take what eases the pain.

I had an alcoholic father. But the flaw in this video is the better twin saying he wanted to be the opposite of his father. That is a bad concept. To be the opposite of someone is not to be you. What you are doing is you are taking a particular type of character and doing a 180. when that is done you really don't know who your true self is. Instead of saying I'm going to be opposite of my father, you can say I'm going to be a better man.
