Not sure how anyone can handle that much responsibility. Hats off man.

I find humor knowing that this bridge was invented many decades before the safety vests on the workers in this rendering. They’ll spend a gazillion dollars to make two gazillion dollars but it didn’t occur to them that a little visibility might save a few thousand lives, though I’m not sure how they would help the guys at the top of the GGB. I don’t think there was much air traffic back then.

The above is just humor. The GGB is a beautiful marvel of engineering and this is an awesome video depicting such.

I just cannot get over the fact that they poured a floor for the fender wall and then went under it to work.. I wonder how long it took, and how it must have felt down there.

I was there on the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was, to put it mildly, a great party.

As a mechanical engineer, this was great to watch

Years ago I read that the towers are six inches out of parallel because of the curvature of the Earth.

The person with the accent is understandable...I stopped viewing after his poor accent made it hard to understand. With 188k views and 6.35 million subscribers you can do better.
