I saw a video ages ago, where you could just like jolt your hand down and up once and it will fire up the props and then launch, I can't find the setting to turn this on.. Anyone know how to do this?

Do you know how painful the propellers cuts are? I found out myself when I first tried to land it on my hand 😂

That hand landing only works in non-windy situations and definitely not on a boat.

I have a dji mini 3 pro, and when I try to put it down on my hand, the sensors recognize my hand and raise the drone up.. how can I solve this? 😀

Hi Stephen, really nice video! What are your thoughts on using 12 mp vs 50 mp vs 200 mp modes?

is it safe to just get the drone low, walk up and grab it and turn it sideways? It shuts off quick, but I wonder if it a crash detection system doing that or if it was designed to as a way to hand land.

for the land handling, how long you have to keep pushing the joystick? mine mini3 pro runaway from my hand whatever i tried :D i hold it eventually but propellers dont stop, i shut off the remote and drone gone crazy all propellers jumped to full speed then relunched the rc , connected to drone and it calmed down i hope i didnt harm the motors :D

Okay, I know literally nothing about drones, I just got mine over the weekend and have yet to take it out. What is the benefit of hand launching? Is it just for when you are are a location that is not ideal? Like sandy or rocky beach? I get why landing, maybe you're on a boat or again sandy beach. Seems awkward to do with holding the controller in one hand as its pretty big.

dosent work my drones sensors tell it not to land

I thought you have to turn off safety sensors off before doing that because it keeps lifting upward away from my hand.

how to take off a moving subject? in the old drones you could just turn off gps , no idea how to do this on new ones. lets say id like to take off of a fast moving boat

I tried to do the landing, but I think the obstacle avoidance system kicks in and prevents me from grabbing it, it wants to avoid my hand, even when I turned off obstacle avoidance. What's the trick to this? Thank you.
