Too bad Marco Polo missed Angkor altogether...
ОтветитьI think I'm one of them, and the struggle is not only real, but intentional and strategic with an onslaught of carefully planted seeds and subverted harvesting by the oppressive forces throughout history, over and over again, disguised as allies and loved ones, scholars, scientists, industrialists, bankers, insurance and military and government regimes. So 7 minutes in this video, this sounds like a summary of the inside scoop with careful wording to cause endings in anything that wasn't obtained this go round. I'll give you 1 guess what the common denominator has been
ОтветитьYour presentation is absolutely mesmerizing qnd beautiful, but stop twisting history and presenting falsehood
ОтветитьAnd again I will rectify , Burmese or mayanmaris where not rearing / domesticating animals 2500 yrs ago , it was the indians.
ОтветитьFirst of all , sir, there was no medieval mayanmar or Burma, it was india, A province of india, which the so called british empire carved out of india to weaken the independence movement, recently in 1937 .
ОтветитьUmericunt and Europe will soon facing the same fate. Just wait no more longer
ОтветитьInteresting ... a bit hard to follow regarding the Buddhist religion and culture ... but spectacular episode, nevertheless!
ОтветитьManuscript(Paper manuscript) showed in your clip is not Burmese but Arakanese: Arakanese Dhammasat.
ОтветитьPresent day Myanmar isn't any better. The same can be said around the globe. We've come far as a species.
ОтветитьWhat happened with Vedic culture in Burma— brahmadesh means land of God Brahma.

ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьEven at its honest best, religion is a dead end. Christianity has always been utterly corrupt, but still it managed to accumulate wealth and freeze the economy. As a result the West learned to keep business and blessings thereof separate, constructing the doctrine of separation from religion instead of religion, and making the Almighty their almighty, money their god, and greed their good, for good, and everyone's happy, even Christianity, for once.
Ответитьamazing bro
ОтветитьAmazing... both sceneries and quality of the video are stunning. I was overwhelmed by how beautiful those temples are. Truly a great treasure...How lucky that land is..God Bless.
ОтветитьThanks for your works, they are epic!
ОтветитьThis series is an absolute gift!
Ответитьcivilization = war is peace; freedom is slavery; ignorance is strength....
ОтветитьWhere does all the footage come from? Is this licensed?
ОтветитьI don’t understand how this series is possible. Given the quality of the video, audio, editing, narration, and research each episode should cost a fortune. This is amazing.
ОтветитьWhen I hear the theme music at the beginning, I become overjoyed, I love it, my favorite channel by far
ОтветитьMe as a burmese. the last poem makes me cry. my hart feels lonley and pain of the poet and the line
(will I ever meet my lord the king in my future birth) makes me cry as he showed his loyalty and respect for his king up untill his last breath
I went there a few years ago and it was incredible. Just to get there you fly on a prop plane into the middle of the jungle. Then after such a long time of seeing just jungle you land and you know you're far away from other inhabited areas and you're met with these temples scattered as far as the eye can see. The wealthier the family, the greater the temple that was built. They range from humble small ones about the size of a person to massive multi story ones. And everything in between. It was an experience I'll cherish forever.
ОтветитьImagine being mistook for a deer
ОтветитьThank the sky for Fall of Civilisations! Wonderful series, so well researched, narrated, and illustrated. Amazing achievement. Thank you.
ОтветитьWoW linda Hermosa Video 👌👌👌

ОтветитьArrogance and ignorance dictated the end of Bagan. Congratulations for the excellent work and thanks for the video.
ОтветитьNeed to check his facts.
ОтветитьI´ve been to Myanmar ~5-6 years ago. Also spent 2 Days in Bagan with an leased E-Scooter exploring as many of those Temples as i could. Absolutly one of my most memorable holidays. :)
ОтветитьI visited Pagan in 1975, I came down the Irrawaddy river on a steam boat from Mandalay.Back then tourist visas were only for one week I travelled very day , by steam train , steamboat , ox cart and an actual bus which was a Ford left over from WW 2. I have very fond memories of that week and all the sights and sounds tastes of Myanmar.
ОтветитьAnother work of magnificence.👏🏻
Both the ancient kingdoms temples and the documentary about them.
As someone whose only awareness of Burma were those long ago American road sign sequences of rhyming lines, ending in Burma Shave!, this was one continuous wide-eyed experience for me. Thank you. As for the Mongols, perhaps I'm under the influence of Jack Weatherford's lengthy histories on the subject, but there is a case to be made that their impact is more than conquest and slaughter. Rule of law and separation of church and state come to mind. Not that the Mongols truly adhered to them. And the unification of China as it is today.
ОтветитьEvery time an episode starts wrapping up I brace myself for the insanely poignant passage of ancient poetry that will rock me to my emotional core
ОтветитьI'm not surprised that this didn't get as much views but much love for shedding light on one of southeast asia's civilizations!
ОтветитьSo where is Bill Bo? Lol
ОтветитьAll empires are destroyed from within. None lasts forever.
Amazing work as usual. This episode affected me - the last poem read at the end.
When I first heard of the 800,000 elephant army, I thought "wow!" And then I realized the dung heaps that would be the result all along the road from the capital to the city of Thaton. Then I thought both "Wow!", quickly followed by both "Eeew!", and "San Francisco!" simultaneously. 😏🤨💩
ОтветитьMy beautiful country is now in turmoil.
ОтветитьExcellent, excellent 🙏
