It's about time Tesla comes back down to earth. It's a CAR company, not a tech company.

EVs are too expensive for most people. Most sales are business lease contracts/fleet sales. And these sales are dropping like a stone...

LOL, Tesla has a supply problem, not a demand problem. Look at the demand for Cybertrucks, for example.... Also, their robots will start replacing employees.

Microsoft laid off 16k employees last year. Meta laid off 13% of its workforce last year. Google laid off 12k employees last year. So if tesla laying people off because of demand issue, then microsoft, meta and google must have laid people off because not enough people were using google chrome or buying office 365 or using instagram, right? That means the technology demand is falling off right? I guess people don't want technology anymore! LMAO

i'm surprised i haven't seen news about a former employee dumping paint or gasoline all over the production floor or in elon's office.

Looking at this, not so long after the long and troubled release of their "truck"....looking forward I wouldn't be surprised to see the truck have a very short production life. No telling how many dollars of company resources have been thrown at that vehicle. Now that's a (real-genuine) number I'd like to see.
Maybe "analysts" and fans will now look at Tesla Automotive for what it is - just another OEM vehicle manufacturer/corporation with just another American CEO. Musk's "cult of personality" (imo) had reached and exceeded that of the late Steve Jobs (RIP). All way out of proportion.

Elon too cocky. BYD is going to kill Tesla. Tesla can’t compete in China because BYD is 1/2 the price of Tesla and North Americans are not into EVs. There are too many little glitches with Tesla that’s pissing owners off.

I never understood why people wanted to work for Tesla so much. They treat their employees as disposable cogs. They sent email layoff notices at midnight on Sunday. Those who didn’t read them early Monday went through the humiliation of being escorted out of line and into transport vans in front of their colleagues. Never be loyal. Change jobs for better pay when opportunities arise. Managers and Senior Execs lie and do not care about you.

Tesla is the best car company ever! No gas stations, No oil changes, No smog check, No corrupt dealership, No catalytic converter and as fast as a $650,000 Lamborghini.!

Musk is implementing GE Jack Welech's 10 percent bottom employee cut rule, something Musk did at the early California Tesla development plant. If it is from poor finance, then the root cause is Musk's ill decided 52B investment to overpay to buy Twitter. If Musk had not spent that 52B, he could have soft landed Tesla across this downturn. Instead he is propping up his poor finance decisions on the backs of his hard working employees.
