Correct me if I'm wrong. But because of the sith rule of 2, plagueis would have died very shortly before the phantom menace or at the very latest near the very beginning of a phantom menace. Plagueis the master, sidious the padawan. But the arrival of maul surely means plagueis had already been killed by sidious?

Sidious unnaturally messing with the force to cling onto life/to create snoke etc = not willing of the force = Force decides to use Rey to balance

Hey Theory the Book is Great I love it the Audio Book too I recommend both but I have a question I’ll ask as best to not spoil a part of the book that I found highly amusing and interesting but it relates to Palp’s and Palguies…..how was it that Palpatine didn’t get hammered by the alcohol….I mean him and Plaguies should have made cooter brown envious but I don’t know I thought maybe Sith or Jedi where immune to effects but now idk

If you read the book you will see that Palpatine and Jobal Naberrie (Padmé's Mom) had many conversations.
What I think happened is that Palpatine had an affair with Jobal which got her pregnant.
Early on in her pregnancy, maybe before she even knew she was pregnant Palpatine used the force to move the embryo from Jobal to Shmi Skywalker.
One to hide the baby from Plagueis and to train the boy later.
This would answer some questions as to why Anakin was drawn to Palpatine and why Plagueis had no knowledge of this.
Palpatine may of even instrumented the whole finding of the boy.

Darth Plageus was the teacher of Sidius who was murdered and his secret to eternal life stolen. that was the place he had in the story. he represented the original "frankensteinian" betrayal of nature who was himself ironically, betrayed by extending his trust to another (but perhaps that represents the weakness inherent yet within one with the most diabolical of intentions). he should NEVER be turned into anythng less than this representation and were he to be included in the story it should be only in his original quest to "find the means to control life". turning him into a mere character within the machinations of characters in Star Wars destroys his original meaning, in the same way as JJ Abrams tried to destroy any original value in the Star Wars franchise generally

It appears that you don't know the meaning of words.

The fact that Plagueis exists at the time of Phantom Menace is a violation of the rule of two. There already exist two sith at that point: Maul and Sidious.

How could Plagueis, Palpetine and Maul all exist at the same time, goes against the rule of 2?

Hey, I really like your work. Good job, keep going. This video made me think about the prophecy and I wanted to share my thoughts, if you would like. Furthermore I leave out Episode 7-9 in this consideration.

The Jedi knew about a prophecy about a Chosen One. The Chosen Onse was supposed to 'destroy the Sith and bring balance to the force'.
[It was new for me that the Sith and Sidious didn't knew about it.]

We "know", as much as the Jedi knew [or rather should have known and considered], that balance in the force means the presence of light and dark or dark and light - to not give one of them more weight.
[Anakin even met these super weird force space guys as far as I remember ...]

So if the Sith would be destroyed only the Jedi and the light side of the force would remain [?], which is not balance. So on the other hand if the dark had to be destroyed, the light should be, too.

In these terms the Jedi should have known that they were doomed to die out just like the Sith* - as the prophecy foretoled. And all by the hand or influence of the Chosen One. Which is Anakin Skywalker.

And he did. He slayed together with clone troopers almost all Jedi and at the end he killed the few Sith - which only was Sidious at the very end, since Anakin turned back in that very moment? [I don't know.)

And what remained after that? Luke already was more of grey, wasn't he?


*Furthermore if the Chosen One was meant to kill the Jedi (by prophecy), maybe it wasn't even the Sith's plan or Sidious' and Plaguies' work that caused all the events and causes, but more like destiny itself.
[Maybe the force just wanted to get rid of em all. Get rekt. When was the prophecy spoken? I would not be suprised if during or after the First Greath Schism.]

Or maybe even like the Sith were to get what they wanted [all Jedi dead], since the Jedi and Sith were destined to be destroyed by prohecy / fate - to bring balance to the force.


Oh, and Plaguies made Anakin? So he kinda destroyed everything that way.

If Disney did a series they should call it The Wise and the Tragic. It’s a good title because it ties the tale of Plagius but it can incorporate referring to either Plagius himself or Palapatine himself.

I don't keep up with anything after Timothy Zahn wrote his books as far as lore goes, but as far as that goes, there are supposed to only ever be two Sith working together at any one time at this point in the story. If Plagueis was alive at any point in the prequels, then how could Maul be Sidius' apprentice?
