My buddy who’s a leafs fan said that the first Boston goal should not have counted because ‘the refs should’ve blown the whistle earlier’. He wanted the refs to stop the play for the guys who were still conscious.

the Leafs need to find a younger version of Brad Marchand and rebuid the club with him .Get rid of the overpaid magical "core 4:" ( except Mathews ) and build with that .Marchand can do it ALL .He can agitate and scores clutch goals every playoffs .To top it off he carries a $6.5M cap hit which is about $4 mill less that any of the magical " core 4" .He could have easily left the Bruins and got $10M somewhere else but he took less with the Bruins becasue he wants to WIN.He has a Cup and has been to the finals 3 times .The magical CORE 4 that combines for over $43M in cap space has produced 1 playoff round win in 8 tries .Pathetic !! and terrible management of the team by Dubas .Thank goodness he is gone .Treliving is trying to clean up his mess
